On our doorstep, ancient Bridgnorth offers one of the finest settings in the country with its numerous steps & alleys, a Victorian Cliff Railway, the leaning castle tower (perched at a dizzier angle than Pisa), riverside walks & Britain’s premier steam railway – the Severn Valley Railway.
If museums are your thing then look no further than the Ironbridge Gorge – a whopping 10 family friendly museums all within a small distance from each other.
